Bush Administration will blame Iraq failures on Iran source CSPAN

Council on Foreign Relations Gary Hart saying that, based on the staged events of the USS Maine and the Gulf of Tonkin, the US is not opposed to staging events in order to go to war. Gary Hart’s letter in full:

So now u’re counting on a Gulf of Tonkin situation?

Let’s take the whole conspiracy-theory out of it, though. What about when the Iranians declared war on the US in 1979 (Invasion of the US Emb arsey)? Isn’t that enough to go to war? What about the proxy war the Iranians are waging against US forces? Those events are supposed to go unchecked?

And if the Bush administration wants to blame the failures in Iraq on Iran, they’re right. I’ve given u links in my previous posts, so if u didn’t look at those, check them out.

I also keep hearing that Ahmadinejad never said he wants the destruction of Israel, well, here u go:

As for u, Dayve. The United States and coalition forces are in Iraq - get the feck over it. Some see it as a mistake, but ask urself this question: would Iraq be in better shape if coalition forces left or would it be in better shape if coalition forces stayed and finished the job?

On top of that, i’m going to do something I should have done a long time ago: I’m going to ignore ur all of u posts in the Current Event forums. Why? Because u have no sources to back up ur claims. And let’s not forget, when someone requests for sources, u ask them [ ur opponent] to find the sources FOR YOU. Here’s my source -

Regarding my request for Dayve’s sources:

Go find them then. Like i told Ric, google "Bush Iraq war profits" but replace Bush with any top American government official.

I don’t want to waste time reading through m arseive articles looking for little bits of information for u, if u want sources go and find them, i don’t care for internet sources personally because every single article on here has a spin on it, a bias. Everything.

And Stankey, I believe the US gave Iraq chemical weapons to use against Iranian forces. The US didn’t give Iraq chemical weapons to use against their own people.
